Seminari en reconeixement de la trajectòria científica del Prof. Ramon Vilaseca (17/06)

El següent dia dilluns dia 17 de juny, el nostre grup DONLL, farà un seminari en reconeixement de la trajectòria científica que ha tingut el professor emèrit Ramon Vilaseca.

Des de l’any 1992 Ramon Vilaseca és professor (ara ja emèrit) de física aplicada a la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), a Terrassa, on ha impartit cursos de física i fotònica. Professor Vilaseca és el fundador del nostre grup de recerca DONLL(dynamics, nonlinear optics and làsers) i del Màster de la UPC en Fotònica, on va ser el director de ambos. També va ser director general d'Universitats de la Generalitat de Catalunya.

Professor Vilaseca té una reserca molt abundant i prolifera, és coautor de més de 170 articles i ha supervisat nombroses tesis doctorals; ha estat responsable de projectes d'investigació finançats per agències nacionals i europees i ha estat organitzador de diverses conferències científiques.

On the upcoming Monday, June 17th, our group DONLL will hold a seminar in recognition of the scientific career of Professor Emeritus Ramon Vilaseca.

Since 1992, Ramon Vilaseca has been a professor (now emeritus) of applied physics at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Terrassa, where he has taught courses in physics and photonics. Professor Vilaseca is the founder of our research group DONLL (dynamics, nonlinear optics, and lasers) and the UPC Master's in Photonics, where he served as director of both. He was also the General Director of Universities of the Government of Catalonia.

Professor Vilaseca has a very extend and prolific research career; he is the co-author of over 170 articles and has supervised numerous doctoral theses. He has been responsible for research projects funded by national and European agencies and has organized various scientific conferences.
